인문실크로드를 통한 생명공동체 구상 : 동아시아 불교문화형성을 중심으로
본 논고는 21세기의 미래지향적인 희망진단, ‘동아시아 생명공동체’ 정립을 위 한 목적의 시야를 확보한다, 인류역사에서 지대한 영향을 행사한 실크로드에서의 핵심 콘텐츠인 불교문화의 흐름을 되돌아보면서 동아시아공동문명인 불교문화를 재생하는 데 목적이 있다. 실크로드 위를 오갔던 콘텐츠는 실크라는 물질과 불교라는 정신이었다. 사실 실크 그 이전부터 사람들의 발길이 있어왔다. 옥과 말, 낙 타가 오고가면서 동과 서의 흐름을 인지하기 시작했고 그 속에서 다양하고 숱한 물건과 인종들이 이동했다. 실크로드를 통한 정복전쟁, 강제이주, 자의적, 타의적 국제결혼, 교역과 사상과 정신의 이동 등이 매우 다채롭고 입체적으로 형성되어 갔다. 이 희망진단은 미래에 형성되어지는 공동체적 문화 사상을 다시 한 번 꽃피울 수 있는 매개체가 될 수 있다는 자신감에서 비롯된다. 아직까지도 서유기』에 관한 스토리를 전 세계인이 즐기고 재탄생시켜가면서 여러 콘텐츠로 활성화시키 고 발전시켜 나가고 있는 것은 좋은 사례가 아닐 수 없다. 무궁무진한 실크로드 에서 꽃피어난 이야기들은 곧 문화화되어 각 나라나 민족마다 자기네 것으로 버 무려 다시 꽃피웠다. 문화의 공유란 그것을 받아들이고 즐기면서 자기들의 것으 로 소화시켜 다시 새로운 문화로 거듭나게 하는 과정을 말한다. 그 속에서 서로 의 문화를 연결하고 생명존중사상과 함께 동아시아라는 공동체의 가능성을 부여 할 수 있다. 21세기는 분명 새로운 문명대안이 요구되고 있으며 더욱이 Covid19 로 인간과 인간 외 뭇 생명존중과 자연과의 공존이 현 인류의 사상적 전환점을 요구하고 있다. 이러한 생명존중과 공감이 문명사상적 근원을 이루며 실크로드의 새로운 네트워크 프로젝트가 오히려 IT시대에 다시 꽃피울 수 있는 계기를 이룬 다. 동아시아문명의 부활은 새로운 실크로드로 옛 영광을 되짚으면서 가능해진다. 실크로드의 재현은 새 시대가 요구하는 신문명시스템의 창출일 수 있다.
Concept of living community through the Humanities Silk Road
This thesis secures a vision for the future-oriented diagnosis of hope in the 21st century and the establishment of an 'East Asian Civilization Community'. The purpose is to regenerate the Buddhist culture, a common ecological civilization in East Asia, which is disappearing. We trace the footsteps of each of East Asia's unique cultural developments through reproduction and creative work that is suitable for each soil, shared by each other. The content that came and went on the Silk Road was definitely the material of silk and the spiritual body of Buddhism. Moreover, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, respect for humans and other life forms and coexistence with nature are demanding a ideological turning point for the present human beings. Such respect for life, sympathy, and coexistence form the basis of the ideology of ecological civilization, and the new network project of the Silk Road rather forms an opportunity to blossom again in the IT era. The revival of East Asian civilization becomes possible when the old glory is restored through a new Silk Road. The reproduction of the Silk Road through the distant past can be the creation of the new name system required by the new era.
