As the commercialization of 'Polar Silk Road' approaches, this thesis aims to understand and explore the humanities and social sciences that will arise from this in the future. Polar Silk Road was created as a joint venture between Russia and China, and China is actively promoting it as a national project by linking it with the ‘The Belt and Road’ project. Russia has designated Murmansk as the center city for Arctic projects, and China is conducting research on the suitability of ports in the Arctic Ocean as base ports. China and Russia have promoted a project to connect the three northeast provinces and Zarubino Port and Vladivostok Port in Primorsky Krai, and have already opened and operated sea routes linking Hunchun-Zarubino Port-Ningbozhoushan Port and Hunchun-Zarubino Port-Qingda Road. China has selected eight ports of the Polar Silk Road as base ports: Shanghai, Tianjin, Dalian, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Ningbozhoushan, Yingkou and Lianyungang. The selection and opening of the base port promotes the commercialization of Polar Silk Road and the exchange of goods and people. The commercialization of the Polar Silk Road is expected to open up a wide and diverse range of humanities horizons that have never been experienced before, such as changes in human ecology, intercontinental cultural and civilized exchanges, cultural hybrid communities, and the formation of a new East Asian civilized community.
